Knowing your Status

Not everyone who is exposed to HIV becomes infected with the virus. If your results show you’re HIV-negative, that is you’re not infected with the virus, this can bring relief and closure if you were worried about your status.

If your results are negative, a healthy life can almost always be maintained by following some simple precautions:

  • always fuck with condoms and plenty of lube
  • get tested regularly for HIV and other STI’s
If the test result is positive (your body has been infected with HIV), it’s not the end of the world. There are a number of treatments and healthy living options that can help HIV-positive men to live long and healthy lives.
